  It is with shock, sorrow and heavy hearts that we learned last night of the passing on Wednesday 25th June 2025 of our dear friend and colleague, Thomas.

  Thomas came to Abbey in July 2024 and quickly showed his expert knowledge, ability and advice on all things archery. He became a vital member of our team and developed a strong rapport with customers who trusted his advice and expertise and they left Abbey with a solid knowledge on how to shoot their bow and equipment. Thomas was known not only for his unwavering dedication and work ethic but for the warmth and joy he brought to everyone he came in contact with. Customers would walk in as a total stranger and meet Thomas and invariably leave having made a firm friend. His ever present smile and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether assisting a customer or lifting a colleague’s spirits, he was always ready to lend a helping hand without hesitation.

  Thomas was a remarkable person, kind, humble and full of life. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, integrity and genuine care for others.

  Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Bianca and four beautiful children on whom he doted and gave them much attention, care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Family during this very difficult time. We hope they find comfort in the many memories they have of Thomas and the outpouring of love from all those who were touched by Thomas’ presence.

  May he rest in peace and may the light he brought into this world continue to shine in our hearts.

• Last week we were busy with many stock orders arriving into our warehouse. First 4 pallets of Bear and Trophy Ridge landed providing a huge supply of compounds and recurves and accessories. Our long awaited Easton order of 5 pallets found its way in and we have many shafts and arrows and accessories. A big order from GSM was next and included Range Finders, Battle Bags, Calls, Bow Stands, Slings and Face Paint. We received a welcome replenishment from Stone Mountain of recurve strings. Not to forget a healthy Gas Bowstrings order came in. And rounding out was BCY with various string materials, servings, Nock Point & Peep Tying Thread, D Loop material and their very interesting DVDs to show you how its done.
