Just as the name implies, the Whisper is the quietest hand held release Carter has ever made.
Four strategically placed O-rings silence the sear mechanisms for a Whisper quiet shot without sacrificing the precision and accuracy Carter is known for.
The Whisper features a newly positioned open hook that loads quickly and silently on a D-Loop.
The hook is also strategically designed to open away from the face to minimise string and loop contact to assure perfect arrow flight. This allows for perfect clearance of archers using a face mask or who have a beard.
In addition to the open hook, the Whisper has a very short distance between the string loop and the release hand, allowing the archer to shoot a 0.5" longer draw, while still maintaining their normal anchor point.
Finally, the Whisper sports the new Magnetic Adjustment Tension System (M.A.T.S.) which makes changing your trigger tension faster and simpler than ever. Simply remove or add the trigger magnets quickly and easily by sliding them in or out for instant trigger tension customisation. Changing your trigger tension has never been quieter or easier, EVER.

Every Carter release has a CNC machined housing made from 6061 T6 aluminium.
It is vibratory deburred and anodised for a very attractive, yet durable finish.
The internal pieces of the release are CNC machined from 1018 cold roll steel. They are case hardened to 50 Rockwell C, electro nickel plated, then hardened a final time to reduce wear.
Each release is hand assembled and tested before it leaves the Carter factory.
