Many people seemed to enjoy the features of the 1st choice, so Carter thought it would be only wise to offer a version with an index finger hole as well.

Carter presents the Wise Choice, a thumb trigger release that adds an index finger hole to assist with consistent index finger placement and adds the security of an enclosed placement for your peace of mind.

Wise Choice features the same popular auto-closing jaw for a quick and easy attachment to your D-Loop and the very popular set screw tension adjustment system for the most precise and simple trigger tension customisation.

A removable lanyard system has been added to give the bowhunter an option of clipping it on the loop or keeping the Wise Choice on your wrist.

The handle is the same universal fit of the popular 1st Choice and Too Simple, with a hole that accommodates a light glove for hunting scenarios.

The three and four finger designs are very comfortable for medium to large hands and the rounded corners give you the feeling that it is custom made for your grip.

Every Carter release has a CNC machined housing made from 6061 T6 aluminium.

It is vibratory deburred and anodised for a very attractive, yet durable finish.

The internal pieces of the release are CNC machined from 1018 cold roll steel. They are case hardened to 50 Rockwell C, electro nickel plated, then hardened a final time to reduce wear.

Each release is hand assembled and tested before it leaves the Carter factory.
