This is what people had to say about Ameristep Doghouse Ground Blind.
Rating 5 out of 5 stars. "I received this blind last week and finally was able to use it yesterday. I did my homework and watched a couple of videos on youtube.com regarding the blind in making my decision to buy it. It is very simple to set-up. It springs open easily and you just have to insert the poles and put stakes in the ground. The poles go together like tent poles on a camping tent. They are very flexible and I did not have an issue with them. I am 5 foot 7 inches, 150lbs and there was plenty of room for two people. If you have two large people, then it could get crowded. When I went to take the blind down, I had trouble getting it to fold up properly. If you have problems, there are at least two great "How to" videos on youtube.com that show step by step how to fold the blind up properly. Just search for "Ameristep Doghouse Blind". After I practised it a few times, it is very easy. I would highly recommend this blind for the price." From Jimmy Waxhaw from China Grove, North Carolina, USA.
Rating 4 out of 5 stars. "Good blind for the price and easy to set-up. I have had more expensive blinds and this one works just as well without some of the extras that you really do not need. Just a good deal for the money." From D C Smith from Clements, California, USA.
Rating 4 out of 5 stars. "This is a good blind for the money. It is durable, lightweight and easy to set up. Overall it is a great blind! Day of setup 30-40 turkeys came straight in without pausing at all. Will definitely buy another one." From Hunting Fanatic 10 from St James, Missouri, USA.
Rating 5 out of 5 stars. "I purchased this Doghouse Blind for use in backyard bird photography. The first time I set it up, about 18 feet from my "bird stage" area, a female goldfinch flew down to one of my "perch" branches while I was in the blind testing the camera set-up and I got some good shots. So, it works! I am satisfied with the design, quality of construction, the ease of set up and take down and the packable size. Delivery was faster than expected. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this blind to other wildlife photographers. I bought the RealTree Xtra Green camo, which I think is a good choice in the midwest from spring through fall. There is plenty of room for a single person to work within the blind, but it would be a tight, but workable, squeeze for two. For regular use by more than one person, I would recommend the Brickhouse Blind." From Nature Photographer from Ohio, USA.
