Radical changes to the Concept series were not needed, nor wanted. The riser geometry proved ideal and the limb and cam system synergies were dialled in.

Most companies would leave well enough alone, but that is not the Hoyt way.

Concept XTS builds on that foundation with refinements to the riser, the cams and the system as a whole, plus one added feature that will change the way archers tune their bows with the XTS limb pocket system.

The Sweet Spot of the Concept XTS Range

The Hoyt Concept XTS 37 brings together stability, speed, balance and manoeuvrability in one of the most versatile configurations within the Concept XTS family.

The original Concept X changed the way many competitive archers thought about axle to axle length. Hoyt found that a significant number of archers who had traditionally shot 40 inch target bows moved to the 37 inch Concept because its long riser, limb geometry and cam design created the comfortable string angle normally associated with a larger bow.

The Concept XTS 37 continues that philosophy while adding Hoyt's latest SCTR 2.0 cam system and XTS Tuning System.

For archers around the commonly used 27 to 30 inch draw length range, the XTS 37 offers an excellent balance between a stable full draw platform and a bow that remains manageable and responsive.

SCTR 2.0 Performance

The revised SCTR 2.0 cam provides a smoother front end and transition into the valley while maintaining the wall characteristics that made the original SCTR system so successful.

Combined with Hoyt's 11.25 inch TXL limbs, the Concept XTS 37 delivers an ATA rated speed of 334 fps.

XTS Tuning System

XTS Tuning System gives archers the ability to make extremely precise tuning adjustments through the limb pocket system. Many adjustments that traditionally required a bow press can now be made directly at the bow.

The system can be used to establish a clean paper tune or taken further to refine horizontal and vertical nock travel, holding weight, group tune and arrow reaction.

Stability and Balance

Concept XTS 37 combines a long riser with limited limb movement and the geometry of the SCTR 2.0 cam to create a comfortable string angle while maintaining the advantages of a slightly smaller overall platform.

Additional mass created by the XTS limb pocket system is positioned towards the ends of the riser, improving pitch resistance and contributing to a steady aiming characteristic.

Refined Shot Experience

Hoyt has further refined the riser machining, cam system and string configuration of the Concept XTS to reduce unwanted vibration and sound while retaining the feed back competitive target archers use to evaluate their shot execution.

SCTR 2.0 Module Options

The draw length specific Spec Modules are designed for efficiency and a firm wall. The rotating CDM and TDM modules provide additional adjustability and different draw characteristics, allowing archers to choose the configuration that best matches their preferred feel.

Standard let off settings are 65%, 70% and 75%, while the optional Tweener Mod Foot adds 67.5%, 72.5% and 77.5% settings.

Modular Grip System

The Grip provides additional bow fit adjustment with grip plates available at 0°, +4° and +8°. Each angle is also available with a reduced draw length plate for extremely precise adjustment.
