Hoyt Concept XTS 34 Description
A refinement, not a restart. Built on one of the most winning bows in Hoyt's 95 year history.
Radical changes to the Concept series were not needed, nor wanted. The riser geometry proved ideal and the limb and cam system synergies were dialled in.
Most companies would leave well enough alone, but that is not the Hoyt way.
Concept XTS builds on that foundation with refinements to the riser, the cams and the system as a whole, plus one added feature that will change the way archers tune their bows with the XTS limb pocket system.
Compact. Fast. Built for the shorter draw archer.
The Concept XTS 34 brings the technology and shoot-through design of Hoyt's flagship Concept platform into a compact 34 inch target bow designed to deliver exceptional performance across shorter draw lengths.
Rather than simply shorten the larger Concept models, Hoyt has engineered the XTS 34 specifically around the needs of shorter draw archers. The result is a compact target bow that combines excellent string angle, impressive stability and serious speed while retaining the unmistakable feel of the Concept platform.
At the centre of the bow is Hoyt's SCTR 2.0 Cam system, designed to provide a smoother draw cycle while maintaining the firm and consistent full draw characteristics competitive archers expect. Combined with Hoyt's proven 11.25 inch TXL limbs, the Concept XTS 34 produces an exceptional 334 fps at its maximum 29.5 inch draw length.
XTS Tuning System
One of the most significant developments in the Concept XTS platform is the new XTS Tuning System. It gives archers greater control for bow tune and allows many adjustments to be made without the need for a bow press.
The system can be used to establish a clean base line paper tune and can also be used to further refine horizontal and vertical nock travel, holding weight, group tune and arrow reaction.
Stability and Shot Feel
The platform on the Concept XTS has been designed around natural bow alignment and resistance to rotational torque. The combination of the shoot-through riser, TXL limbs and SCTR 2.0 cams help the bow sit naturally at full draw while reducing unwanted horizontal nock movement during the shot.
Refinements to the riser machining and cam system also reduce residual vibration while retaining the shot feed back competitive archers expect.
SCTR 2.0 Cam and Module Options
The SCTR 2.0 system gives the archer considerable freedom to personalise draw length and full draw feel. The draw length specific Spec Modules from Hoyt provide a firm wall and excellent efficiency, while the rotating CDM and TDM modules offer additional adjustment options.
Standard let off settings are 65%, 70% and 75%, with Hoyt's optional Tweener Mod Foot providing 67.5%, 72.5% and 77.5% settings.
Modular Grip System
The Concept XTS features Hoyt's Modular Grip System with grip plates available at 0°, +4° and +8°. Each angle is also available with a reduced draw length plate, allowing the archer to make very fine adjustments to their bow fit.
