Carter 1st Choice Release Description
This hand held thumb trigger release is loaded with great features.
Based on the extremely popular and versatile Too Simple hand held thumb trigger release, Carter is excited to introduce the 1st Choice release.
The First Choice features the same confortable and extremely universal fit handle as its predecessor but incorporates an extra half inch longer neck.
The length of the neck and release head matches the length of the standard target models.
The 1st Choice is one of the most adjustable releases from Carter.
Add in the self-closing jaw and the set screw tension adjustment system features of the Too Simple and the result is a target quality thumb trigger release which is very simple to use and hunting scenario friendly.
Every Carter release has a CNC machined housing made from 6061 T6 aluminium.
It is vibratory deburred and anodised for a very attractive, yet durable finish.
The internal pieces of the release are CNC machined from 1018 cold roll steel. They are case hardened to 50 Rockwell C, electro nickel plated, then hardened a final time to reduce wear.
Each release is hand assembled and tested before it leaves the Carter factory.
