- Great News for All Target Compound Archers: World Archery and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have officially announced that Compound Archery will be included in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. For the first time in Olympic history, the Compound Mixed Team event will be featured alongside the five existing medal events in the Recurve division. This marks a major milestone for the sport and a significant recognition of the skill, precision and popularity of compound archery worldwide.
