Martin Puff Silencers

Puff Silencers should be placed on the bowstring at an equal distance from each limb tip in order to preserve the dynamic balance of the limbs. You may have to experiment and move the puffs up or down the bowstring to find where they provide the greatest harmonic dampening effect.

Puff Silencers will do an excellent job of quietening your bow.

Use Puffs on strings or cables to quieten any traditional bow and are great for recurves and longbows.

Made of leather & durable coloured yarn strands, normally in green and black or grey and black colours. Please specify colour.

Puffs install easily and quickly. Just spread the strands of the string and insert the end of the puff strap.

Tightly wrap puff around the string with the yarn to the outside. Spread the strands of the string and insert the other end of the puff strap.

Compress the puff to form a tight ball of yarn. After several shots, the yarn will scrunch up to form a ball and that is the puff. See the end result below.

Can be trimmed to the desired size.
