Martin STS Offset Rod and Bumper Description
Quieten and improve the performance of your 2009 Bengal, Cheetah or Leopard compound bow by eliminating string vibration. Rod and Bumper can also be installed on most 2008 models, including the Bengal, Cheetah, Leopard and Saber.
Very effective at preventing vibration, without adversely affecting arrow speed.
The STS comprises an offset rod, which is 6" long, 3-8" diameter with a 1.5" bumper attached.
The STS (Shock Terminator Suppressor) Rod and Bumper is installed in the 3-8" diameter hole located beneath the grip on the riser. Adjust the rod so that the rubber STS bumper just makes slight contact with the bowstring when at rest. Secure the rod in place by tightening the set screw on the side of the riser.
Spare offset rod and bumper can also be purchased individually.
