Second 20 foot container of Bear and Jennings compound bows arrives in the Hills
Feb 07: On 15th December 2006, our container - another 20 footer - was loaded at Escalade’s famous Bear Archery factory in Gainesville, Florida, USA and it spent Christmas on the high seas. However its journey was much swifter than our last Bear shipment. (If you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox as your browser, hover your cursor over each image to read the photo captions)
We wish to place on record the hard yards put in by the Bear Gainesville staff who stayed back to get our container packed and despatched to ensure Abbey avoided paying for an extra day’s stay for the container at the warehouse.Their dedication and great work is to be congratulated.
It seems only a short time ago that our last shipment of Bear and Jennings bows arrived, but here we go again. Thankfully we got off to a great start with an early morning arrival of the container, so the bows were unloaded and stacked in our warehouse before there was a lot of activity in our complex.Prior to it’s arrival, our staff had tidied up all our Bear and Jennings pallet racking to accommodate this new load of 700 bows.
Bows are possibly one of the easiest products to unload and handle. In no time, we had unpacked the container and it just left us to do the counting, ticking off and stacking away. In this bow order, we have significantly expanded our range of left hand model bows, to suit the left eye dominant archers who shoot a left hand bow.We have been most fortunate to have a very wide range of bows to suit those shooters who have particular requirements. We believe we have a bow that covers most shooters at most affordable prices.
Some of the new models from Bear are very exciting in that they come as a bare bow - which has no accessories and also as a ready to shoot bow which includes sight, arrow rest, bow quiver, string silencer, peep sight and in some models, a D loop. Ready to shoot bows are very popular as archers like their gear factory fitted just as new car buyers prefer getting accessories factory fitted to new cars.
