Hoyt dominates Face 2 Face - 10 of 12 medals go to Team Hoyt
November 10: Amsterdam, Netherlands and Team Hoyt sweeps Face 2 Face event. Team Hoyt has again taken a total sweep of the men's compound division and also swept all three podium positions in men's recurve as the 2010 edition of the Face 2 Face indoor in Amsterdam concluded today. Hoyt shooter Mike Schlosser (Netherlands) defeated World Record holder Peter Elzinga (Netherlands) in a shoot-off, taking the gold medal, while third was taken by Dave Cousins (USA) using his Hoyt bow.
In men's recurve it was yet another total Hoyt Formula sweep, with the USA's Brady Ellison defeating Olympic star Magnus Petersson of Sweden for the gold and French competitor Franck Fisseux taking the bronze.
Hoyt's Ivana Buden (Croatia) dominated women's gold medal action, while USA and Team Hoyt shooter Christie Colin took the bronze.
In Women's recurve action, Hoyt's Coby Hurkmans (Netherlands) took the silver while Hoyt shooter Carina Christiansen (Denmark) took bronze. In all, Team Hoyt took 10 of the 12 medals awarded in this prestigious event!
