Abbey 2 Cam Compound String Standard Description
We can supply quality bowstrings for any compound bow.
Abbey Archery standard strings are constructed from BCY 452X string material, served with a combination of #3D and Halo end serving. Strings are made on Little Jon and Specialty Super Server string jigs and pre-tensioned to 300 lbs.
All compound bows should display their shooting string length and buss or control cable length on a label affixed to the inside of one of the limbs.
When ordering, please advise details in Special Preparation Instructions in Step 2 of the Checkout process if you would like either all black or black and bronze strings.
If you are not sure of the length of your bow string please obtain advice, perhaps from your club or contact us for assistance.
Please allow 5-7 business days for your string to be made.
It is important to wax your bow string frequently to protect it from the elements and to minimise string abrasion. Simply apply wax directly to your string or roll some wax in the palm of your hands until it becomes soft, pliant and warm and then run the wax up and down the string. Be careful not to apply excessive wax to the string. Bohning Xccelerator Bowstring Wax, Bohning Tex-Tite Bowstring Wax and Bohning Seal-Tite Bowstring Wax are available and can be purchased separately.
