Visit to Win & Win Factory in South Korea

Apr 05: In early April 2005, we received an invitation to join a select group of international distributors to visit the Win & Win Archery manufacturing facilities in Ansung-Shi, South Korea to attend a seminar by their President, Mr Kyung-Rae Park on the manufacture and performance of Win & Win risers and limbs.
Michael, our Castle Hill store Manager, attended the seminar which he found most interesting and he also visited our other Korean manufacturers, Samick Sport Co Ltd, InterNature Co Ltd, Doo Sung Corporation (who make the well known Cartel brand of archery accessories).
In recent years, Win & Win have made very significant advances in limb technology and it would seem lead the world in both research and design. They have invested heavily in technology and in testing. A 10.000 frame per second camera tracks limb performance from the moment of drawing the bow through release to where it finally ceases all movement and vibration.
Win & Win have published these results on their website www.win-archery.com and it makes for very interesting reading and according to Win & Win, demonstrably shows their limbs are far superior than any other recurve limb!
The weather in South Korea was extremely cold compared to our weather but Michael was feted by our very generous suppliers to traditional Korean food and hospitality, including being shown the various Korean tourist attractions. (Hover your cursor over each image to read the photo captions).
