GKF See All Draw Check Mirror

A see-all draw check mirror assists you to check your draw. Comes with self adhesive mounting. Mounts to right hand or left hand.

Before removing the green covering of the double sided tape and installing your draw check mirror, ensure the mirror is placed in the correct spot which is just in front of your arrow point at full draw. You can temporarily hold the mirror in place or use masking tape to put the mirror in the right place.

Locate the draw check mirror at a slight angle above the arrow, so the tip of the arrow is visible at full draw and fletches clear the mirror bracket. The "L" shaped bracket may be bent to obtain the correct angle necessary to view the tip of your arrow.

Be sure to leave a slight separation of bowstring below peep sight for viewing purposes. Archer should be able to see arrow point using secondary vision while viewing through peep.

Techniques on checking your draw

A draw check mirror with the arrow point set at the bottom of the mirror at your natural anchor. If the arrow point moves up the mirror, then you know if you are creeping. Standing diagonally in front of the mirror on your bow, practice nocking your arrow and setting your bow hand with a relaxed hook with your draw hand fingers. Raise the bow and draw by moving your elbow straight back at shoulder level. Keep your draw wrist straight and relaxed. Be sure to anchor with the bowstring touching the middle of your nose and corner of your mouth.

Check your position by looking in the mirror. Move just your eyes, not your head. Slowly ease the string back. Complete a total of six repetitions. After becoming conversant with this exercise, mimic the shot with your eyes closed after you set your draw hand hook and then open them to check the mirror. Ensure your shoulders are level and your head is erect. Move your draw elbow back at shoulder level. Touch your chin with your string hand. Touch your nose and corner of your mouth with the bowstring.

It is important to draw the bow a few times to make sure the arrow can be drawn and let down without the arrow falling off the arrow rest.
