Australian Hunting DVD Tusker Wandering the New England Ranges 2 Description
Come on another adventure into the New England Tableland area of New South Wales, Australia to bow hunt Fallow Deer, Goats, Foxes, Pigs and more.
This trip by Stephen Musumeci, Jon Matsen and John Teitzel to a mountain paradise has produced some great bowhunting footage with young Stephen taking 6 species, Jon has an open country stalk on a sizeable boar and John gets a buck with his bow cam attached.
There is some enthralling viewing as the guys traverse all terrain and climate, outstanding footage of two foxes that were harvested in one whistle, a black feral cat being lured to the whistle and succumbing to a well placed shot and a brilliant over the shoulder breathtaking stalk and successful shot on a fallow buck.
There is also a high degree of knowledge and education imparted by John and there are some key messages in this DVD.
See the boys take some great game with traditional and modern bows, all in this 60 minute production.
SPECIAL John meets up with legendary bowhunter and fox whistling guru, Graeme Duff. Graeme explains his hard earned secrets and techniques on whistling and shooting foxes. His ideas make a lot of sense and he also gives a demonstration on his favourite whistle.
To date, Graeme has taken over 1100 foxes with the bow.

This is a DVD review by Dave Whiting.
"Most would agree that John Teitzel's Tusker Productions made its name in bowhunting video production here in Australia with a wealth of exceptional footage on huge boar and barra being harvested in our tropical north. However after having just sat through the latest Tusker Productions titled Wandering the New England Ranges 2, I can confirm that John and his hunting mates can traverse all terrain and climate and still come up with some enthralling viewing.
For years, the New England area of northern NSW has been renowned as a small game hotspot and an ideal area for we bowhunters to visit and sharpen our skills on the likes of rabbit, fox and goats through to mountain boar and the magnificent fallow bucks.
If your interest is to simply stalk and shoot or whistling and shoot, it is contained in this release by the bucket full. The outstanding footage of two foxes knocked over in one whistle, a black cat being lured to the whistle and succumbing to a well placed shot, and a brilliant over the shoulder breathtaking stalk and successful shot on a fallow buck is, as they say, worth the admission alone.
Tusker Productions always strive to impart a degree of knowledge and education within its footage and in my opinion Wandering the New England Ranges 2 does this as well as any DVD; for the astute viewer, there are some key messages in this movie.
This trip to a mountain paradise by John, Stephen Musumeci and Jon Matsen has produced some great bowhunting footage; watch as young Stephen cleans up 6 species for the trip, John knocks over a dark buck with bowcam attached and Mato manages to pull off the perfect open country stalk on a sizeable boar. The slow motion replay on an unsuspecting bunny is a classic and worth the second look.
A mix of technical hunting gear and traditional bows makes for great viewing and whilst some of the footage may be a little shaky, I say who cares; this is what can happen when you get in close and need to act quickly to get the footage. I would rather be given the choice of viewing such footage rather than, as they say, it end up on the cutting room floor.
I must say that Tusker's smart thinking in getting fox whistling guru, Graeme Duff on camera, sharing some of his hard earned secrets is an absolute scoop; everything Graeme said and did, made a lot of sense and is a must to view before you head bush again for a bout of fox whistling. Graeme also gives a demo on his favourite whistle.
Three dedicated bowhunters out in the Australian bush having fun is what this DVD is all about and I reckon it is well worth the look."
