• Native to - remote reaches of the Northern boreal forests and subarctic and alpine tundra of the Northern Hemisphere, with the greatest numbers in Alaska, Canada, the Nordic countries of Europe and throughout western Russia and Siberia.
• Head & body length - 19 to 35 inches (50 to 90cm)
• Shoulder height - 13 to 17 inches (35 to 45cm)
