Magazine South Pacific Bowhunter 4th Edition, 228 pages

The South Pacific Bowhunter is the new name for the highly respected Bowhunter Australia magazine and is edited by its founder, Antonio Lara, a passionate bowhunter and a moderator of the on-line forum for bowhunters on the Australian Bowhunters Forum website.

Its aim is to promote bowhunting in Australia and is a very informative and entertaining publication in a layout that is as much pleasing to the eye, as the information within is pleasing to the mind.

Antonio conceived the idea of publishing an annual bowhunting magazine and this is the 4th edition, released in April 2011.

Antonio asked forum members for articles based on the species hunters specialise in hunting including traditional shooters and for their favourite trophy photos. South Pacific Bowhunter has articles that will both educate and entertain all levels of bowhunters, from beginners right through to the most experienced.

The magazine has special features, product reviews, articles on technical aspects of archery, along with informative and entertaining pieces from hunters' general hunting experiences that come to life. The writers are some of the very best hunters from right around Australia and there are also a fine few from the USA, New Zealand and Europe. This helps give the magazine an international feel, whilst maintaining its strong roots in the South Pacific. It also takes great pride in unearthing new talent and always encourages and gives opportunities to new writers to have their work published.

There are articles on string making, hunting techniques, an interview with Alan Davies, broadhead innovator and hunter, tracking and navigation and technical articles.

The 4th Edition is in full colour and in paperback, 20.96cm x 29.85cm or 8.25" x 11.75" with 25 articles, 10 product reviews, 9 special features and 367 photos and illustrations, 228 pages.
